openGill Verdon: We can rule out the simulation hypothesis if a quantum computer shows that there wouldn't be enough atoms in the observable universe to emulate it with a classical computer.
“But over time, yes, as the chips grow and more and more of the program uh becomes part of the physics of the chip or that become thermodynamic programs, then eventually we could run the whole program on the chip.”
